There are 8 ATV parks on Koh Samui. Five sit around Maenam on the north coast, two are on the Nathon side and one is near Lamai. Tours run 1 to 4 hours and prices start at ฿1,500 per rider for one hour, up to ฿4,500 for four hours. Most parks offer hotel pickup across the island.

Five parks are around Maenam on the north coast: Samui Quad Motor, X-Quad Samui, Trail Blazers, Orange Wave and Wild Action. Two are on the Nathon side: Jungle Quad and Green Mountain. Samui X-Treme is the only park near Lamai. Most parks offer hotel pickup, but confirm the transfer time for your hotel area before you book.
No. The tours run on private trails with a guide, not on public roads, so no driving licence is needed. The quads are automatic, so there are no gears to think about. More detail in our licence guide.
The parks run these tours for beginners every day, with helmets, a briefing and practice laps before the trail. An ATV is still a real machine on real dirt trails, so no tour is zero risk. Ride at your own pace and check what the park's insurance covers before you book. More in our safety guide.
Yes at most parks, usually as a passenger on a double quad with an adult driving. Minimum ages differ per park and per tour, so confirm your child's age when you book. See our age limits guide.
Closed shoes, clothes you do not mind ruining, sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring a change of clothes for the ride home. You will get dusty on dry days and muddy after rain. The full list is in our what to wear guide.

Yes. For 1 to 3 riders you pay nothing up front: reserve the slot here and pay at the park on the day. A deposit is only taken for groups of 4 or more and for private tours, where it holds the machines for your date. You can also choose to pay in full online, which carries a 5 percent card processing fee shown before you confirm.
Yes. Every tour booked on this site can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before the start, deposits included. This is one rule across all 8 parks, so there is nothing to check park by park. Inside 24 hours the booking is not refundable. If the park cancels for weather or safety you are offered a new date or a refund.
